Raleigh Hills

Raleigh Hills is a very desirable location simply because of the commute into downtown Portland. And it's not so much a "commute" as a drive. Located near a main thoroughfare, driving into town can be done on city streets -- avoiding the freeways altogether, and on a good day, the drive is only 10-15 minutes!! There is a great local EXPRESS bus that has limited stops during morning and evening rush hours. So, on the top of many buyers' lists is Raleigh Hills because it just makes this area a great commute. Raleigh Hills is an older, established area and offers larger lot sizes, older and mid-century homes with character and charm. For these two reasons: location to downtown and character of homes make Raleigh Hills a great and desirable neighborhood! This area is located in the City of Portland, but falls into the Beaverton School District boundary and Washington County taxes!!
